“You’re all very interactive with children, lots of learning about getting ready for school which my daughter loves. Keep doing an incredible job, all the children are so happy to go in, well done.” – Parent
Our Story
About Uplyme Preschool
We were established over 50 years ago, as a parent run playgroup based in Uplyme Village Hall, by a group of Mums who wanted their children to learn through play. Since then we have grown, learned and developed and have become a vital part of the community offering a fun, caring and stimulating learning environment for children aged between two and four years.
We remain at the heart of village life and continue to provide a safe space where children can thrive, learn, and build friendships.
Our Facilities
The Village Hall ensures we have a great free flow indoor and outdoor environment where all of the children can play and learn together. Our outdoor area has a canopied patio for all year round play and we have an all weather surfaced playground area. We also have access to our local primary school’s forest school site where we have our own planting area which the children help us to plant and maintain so that we can develop their understanding and love of the environment.
